It's amazing how much stupid behavior one sees on the road these days. i agree with the issues of merging, getting off the phone especially if you do not have a blue tooth, and the others I have seen mentioned.

The one that really drives me up a tree is the idiot that has their cruise control set, and as they pass someone, it takes them 10 miles to do so because they are too lazy to goose it a bit and get passed whoever they are passing.

Then there are the idiots that are going a couple miles an hour faster than you and think they can scare you out of the lane by crawling up your tailpipe. I'm not doing 80 just because you want to. If it doesn't say Pete, KW, or Freightliner on the front of your vehicle or the one behind you, chill your butt and I will get over when it is safe for me to do so. If it is a big truck, I'll goose it a bit more to pass someone and get out of your way.

:biggrin_2559:I thought it was a compliment!:biggrin_2559: It's funny how it doesn't bother me at all when in the big truck, but in my 4wheeler, it irritates me a little.:biggrin_25524:

Yeah, hubby doesn't get worked up either. He's calm as a cucumber when this happens. And I just sit and steam. LOL :biggrin_25525:

I have lately seen some drivers do it on I-80 WB in Wamsutter, WY, where merging traffic has a stop sign on the ramp. I don't expect much from cars but these were truckers!!

The merging thing has always been a pet peeve of mine too just recently had an issue with a pick up trucking coming down a ramp at full speed I couldn't get over becaus had two cars beside me he stayed in the throttle and nearly hit guard rail then backed off at the last min fell in behind me passed me gave me the one finger salute the cut in front and slammed on his brakes. What a Moran thank goodness I was empty and was able to slow down to avoid hitting him but there is a good ending to this story a state cop witnessed the whole thing pulled us both over and just starting biting on the pick up truck driver big time told him I had the right away and that was the most stupid thing he had ever seen anybody do then he made him apologize to me and gave him a big reckless driving ticket. So a big kudos to the officer.
