Hello all,
This is my first post here on TR! I have enjoyed reading many of your accounts and now it is time to post my own.
I am Semper Fidelity, yes I am a former honorably discharged Marine. I have driven (pulled, as I was informed) flatbed with my name on the door, and drove fuel for a year as well. I am getting back in the cab now, and looking to drive with Werner (Eagle Transport). My application in processing as we speak.
I have read much of what has been said here, good and bad, and I am unfazed. As a former Marine, I know my level of commitment here and I will be giving 110% as I seek to drive and become an O/O again. I need to roll. I will be giving the play by play report here as I progress into the cab, meet the trainer, and deal with the daily rigors of the highway.
Dont expect to find a lot of moaning out of me, I endure my trials with a glad heart and expect to learn a lot and get my level of discipline up to where it needs to be.
Please feel free to write and be constructive, no whiners please. And to all my veteran brothers and sisters out there, (army navy airforce MARINE coast guard, post office etc....), shout out and dont be silent! I take advice well!

You don't drive a flatbed, you pull/tug a flatbed/trailer.
Welcome, and Thanks for your service.Semper Fidelity Thanks this. -
come to think of it, I did actually pull the flatbed. With a volvo daycab and an m11 cummins. Correction duly noted, and thanks!

Hey man, welcome to the forum and thank you for your service to the country. You are a Marine so I highly doubt you are going to find a little bit of over the road training the slightest bit difficult. Good luck to you and if you need anything just holler!
