I'd like you to think back on all the driving you did at Schneider and the feedback they gave you both during the drives and afterwards.

I would guess that you received a lot of feedback on your turns -how to identify, how to set up, and how to negotiate them. If I asked your instructors how you were doing before the drive where you had to back out of a failed turn, I doubt they would have said "everything is fine".

This is the first and biggest problem - seeing the whole picture. As you move forward, make sure you are listening and understanding the feedback that's being given. We expect to see improvement day to day - the little errors aren't a problem on Day 1, but if they're still happening on Day 7 it's a big issue. Look ahead and plan ahead, what's happening right now isn't important. What's about to happen is. If you changed lanes in the intersection it means you weren't looking ahead and planing on making the lane change. It was a reactive action instead of a proactive choice. If that's happening in the controlled environment of the training academy, it's going to happen in the "real world" with disastrous results.

    I wish you the best.

Yes, I got a lot of feedback. Learned many things I did not learn from school. e.g.) coupling and uncoupling, bottle hook turn.
I feel so sorry the fact that Schneider completely wasted time and money on me, but on my part, I did not waste anything. Even though it ended on my day 8, it was still valuable experience for me. I am thankful to Schneider for the good quality training I received.
I lacked qualities to be called a good driver. I will keep driving my regular car and hopefully small truck and keep learning. Thank you very much for your advice.

    Good morning Chinatown!

It’s been 2 months since I posted this and you and everyone gave me great ideas.

long story short, I work for Western Express and no accident so far. I really appreciate them for giving me a chance. While I do understand why they get such bad reviews online, if you keep on trying… things get better. They give me home time whenever I want which is my surprise. They even switched me to regional when I said I want to be home weekly, not every other week.
Life on the road missing home is my biggest problem which I would have at any companies so I don’t have much special complaints about WE.
