Maybe that is why people think truck driving is all clean and fresh. BJ from BJ and the Bear and the Rubber Duckie fron Convoy were always clean and freshly showered.

Ok ok ok ok I can't complain, I AM actually sitting in a hotel. I WILL have a fresh shower in the AM. But new drivers should NOT expect this everyday. It can be tough for many starting out. I think I was lucky as I came from 20 years military. And well, trucking is nothing like that. But just like many can't handle the military, more can't handle trucking.

OP wake up and smell coffee. Go back if you want and don't go if you don't want to. With enough research you should have known that your first year would be hardest. If you can't suck it up for ONE year then trucking may not be for you. There is no other career that you come in making this much money. You are on here talking about feelings. No one cares about feelings. With me money is my motivation And I never feel bad when I'm making money.

I have read hundreds of post on this site. It is a ruthless place. I've seen simple threads turn into 10 page long bashings. The knowledge here is awesome though. Use the search button and it will work wonders. In my life I've always made a decision and lived with it no whining. OP don't ask questions about what you should do every situation is different.

I am glad that happened in the AM, had it been at night, and I had to be stopped, I would have been pissed. Then my 8 hour night, would have been whatever long! There ain't even that much snow on the road!

I wouldn't say the site is ruthless at all. I see most of the posters as being pretty compassionate and understanding. But there comes a point where some of the postings are just too far over the top. Trucking is a tough job both mentally/physically. The drivers that do it the right way can easily recognize some whiner who tries to use the site as a place to vent, without considering their own shortcomings. People on here see through the BS.................they see it every day.
