The serial killer James Cruz used trucking as a cover for traveling to dispose of bodies. His mistake was he fueled up both at the truckstop in Bangor, Maine where he picked up his victim and at a truckstop in Bellefont, PA near where he disposed of the same victim, putting him on the detectives' radar.

A little back story for that.

When I was in high school, back in the early 70's, we had a math teacher that had a game he played with his students.
Pretty sure he invented it.
He called it Quizno.
Give me 5 numbers, and then a sixth.
Use the first five numbers to make the result the sixth.

It was an end of class type of thing. The last 5 or 10 minutes after the 'real' teaching lesson was finished.
It was just an intellectual exercise.
He would say... "It's QUIZNO TIME!!!
And we would go to it.

There were some very smart kids in that class. I wasn't one of them. But somehow, it was nearly always solved before the bell rang.

There are far more serial killers in trucking than they are reporting. Some are absolute terrorists with weapons of mass destruction. I've heard guys in the truck stop bathrooms straight killing there toilet victims!!! But the one that have the bombs will take out multiple people at a time.

One morning I barely escaped. About 6 drivers were at the sinks brushing there teeth. When this masked guy came bursting in yelling move, move, im going to blow the roof off this place. And as the door barely was shut. All we heard was pop, pop, pop, BOOOOOOM!!! I thought I was back in Iraq. Then we all went flying towards the exits right before the next explosion. One guy said theirs no way he got his paints down that fast. He had to blow his underwear off before he got to that stall. We all laughed and said we would stay away from truck stop buffet food. But whew we were nearly victims of a suicide bomber.
