It seems most drivers don’t understand how the cameras work. First, the camera must record 24/7, otherwise, it would only catch an accident after it happened, it can’t go back in time and record what happened leading up to the accident. Second, while the camera does record 24/7 it does not save anything unless there is an event like an accident, sleep detection, distracted driving like holding a phone. Third, the camera can be viewed at any time as well as audio which is very intrusive.
It may be their equipment but this is also our private space which is very unique. Sadly, most drivers will never speak up or lawyer up hence why they continue to get away with this behavior.LtlAnonymous, Atwt and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this. -
