Millis breaks their training into 2 parts the "schooling" and the "driving" each of which costs 2500 for a total of 5000 the schooling portion is paid through commitment but unless something has changed you have to pay the 2500 driving portion regardless. Hear almost all positive things about the company though.

I had a friend that went with US Express after we got done with training at Swift. He started driving the automatic transmissions that they have and forgot how to shift a regular truck like most companies run. Needless to say he had to stick with them because he knew he couldn't pass a driving test for another company. They didn't treat him very well. He was one of the most level headed guys I've ever met. Very calm and mature and not a mean bone in him. I believe everything he told me about the way they treated him. He finally had a small incident with them and got fired so now he's not a driver anymore.

I personally would not recommend them unless they have gone to standard transmission trucks, but that's just me. Just something to think about.

Thanks everyone, but I have applied at Roeh, and MCT. Im turned towards MCT though i read a couple of posts about the both of them and have found that they are good companies. The thing is its easy to get in with negative companies but rather hard to get in with the good companies that will train you properly....Also on the training tips i would like to know is what really is the orientation part like as far as the training and the otr with a trainer....and last but not least IM REALLY WORRIED ABOUT GETTING ACCEPTED AND THEN GOING ALL THE WAY OUT THERE GO THROUGH TRAINING FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS THEN THEY TRY AND SEND ME HOME,,,HOW IN THE WORLD COULD THIS BE AVOIDED?
