    Any form of pain killer that has opiates in it is asking for trouble when it comes to you being in a CMV. And a lot of it, at that.

    Your prescription bottle has a label on it that says "do not operate heavy machinery while taking this med". That rules out driving a truck. Plus like other posters said--there are rules against it.
    Wait until you're off those and have transitioned to Advil.
    In addition, you'll have range-of-motion issues to comply with depending upon what type of trucking you'll want to do.

    Some companies don't require a physical if you already have a DOT medical card, but they do a drug test.

    Paschall Truck Lines accepts current medical DOT cards, but you still will have to pass a drug test.

    You must have the DOC. review the med. you take and sign off that he has gone over all nac. with you and doc. sig. is all you need.(you told the doc. by putting all med. you take on med. form I hope}
