    Stop thinking, it just gets in the way of things.

    Thats not an actual bridge. It was named after the world famous hunter and trapper Jim Bridger.
    It was originally a simple trading post and rest stop to those on the Oregon trail and other western bound peoples. It later became a pony express and telegraph station. Was garrisoned as a military site some time around 1860.
