Missing Christmas with his family should be part of the punishment for all the truck drivers and companies he screwed.

He's going to serve 12 years one way or the other, at age 59 he may dead by the time that sentence is up. Why not? It isn't like he's a child molester, rapist, ir murderer. I could see if he really was a menace to society.

I don't have sympathy either. This article just goes in the category of "Why is his news?" Him spending Christmas with family doesn't take away a looming sentence, nor does it affect anybody. I personally don't know if it's worse to miss the holidays while locked up or to have the holidays knowing you are going away for a long time

to me, it speaks of entitlement for a rich guy.

anyone else, that was poor or of moderate income, would be hauled off to jail and in jails, they must have family time for the holidays, complete with daddy's boyfriend sitting at the kiddie table.

You're probably right. Regular Joes get no sympathy. Then again, they didn't give Bill Cosby a retrial or appeal either, so I guess it's case by case with the rich

Asking for a retrial and asking to have Christmas before you go down for 12 yrs is totally two different things.
One has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

That's what they say....but to lock down a high profile person is too big a victory for lawyers and judges to pass up
