That is a fantastic selection of books.

I would only add the following:
People of the Lie - Scott Peck
    The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand

You need to realize that you’ll need to be able to find everything in the cab of your truck with the lights off in a moment’s notice. It’s like trying to find things in your closet with the lights off so be very strict about keeping things in the exact same place.

One of my favorite tools was Velcro. It kept things stable in a bouncy cabin and, with limited space, allows you to use vertical surfaces for storage.

Yeah I agree, travel light for a few weeks and he can decide what he wants. And he needs to be aware if he has to get offf thetruck (switching trucks or breaking down) he has to carry everything by hand to the other truck or into a hotel then out of the hotel and back into the truck.

    At a MINIMUM......
A case of water, plus a couple of emergency quarts in the back.
2 or 3 cans of already made soup (Progresso).
Exta smokes in the back if he smokes.

Here's the deal, besides of all that other stuff you mentioned, he needs to be 100% prepared to spend 2 days on the side of the road due to the interstate being closed down. 100% of the time.

    Good luck

I guess you didn't fully read the original post; the guy has a gaming system. People who do electronic games rarely read, and certainly not printed books.
