    According to the Storms Prediction Center, the environment that the super cell moving up the turnpike is in, has the capability to keep the storm tornadic clear up through Kansas City. It's not competing for the energy.

    If you look in the center of that warning box, you will see the hook echo. The velocity loop is better when moving, it will show you how close the reds and greens are together, which means very high velocity winds.
