You sat 5 days??????????????????Did they even pay you for layover pay?Did you ask them about borrowing another trk?I would have after the first day.It's not fair to drivers to just sit and sit.See companies like this get subsidy money thanks to us so why should they care who sits and for how long.I think you'd be wise to just head home and find a company with miles or at least don't sit so much.What did you do for that 5 days?

 

usually companies do things like this to starve out a lazy or unmotivated driver. not saying your lazy driver.

 

I was wondering the same thing what he did that would drive me nuts,and I maybe would have waited 1 1/2 days but after that bye bye.

Not ANOTHER company that doesn't care about their drivers!! What is a person to do????

 

Isn't this the company that was going out of business and the town of Seward NE came to their rescue so that the citizens wouldn't lose their jobs?

 

No idea, but if so, that is pretty cool, IMHO. Local saving local.

 

Yep same seward. Its not cool actually they wouldve been better off letting that company go out of business. They aint dont nothing for years so whats the point of saving that company. Hell their yard was nothing but a 6ft tall gated fence with a bunch of beat up 53 vans and beat up tractors sitting there last time i drove by in sept. Was a hell hold 20 years ago and its a hell hole now imho!
