Im in the process of being approved by SFI to lease a truck, so while waiting I thought I would do a little "shopping". First question, does anyone know what happened to the interactive list of trucks available? It used to be there, but has been gone for a few days now. Next question, Im familiar with the Cascadias and Volvos, but does anyone have any experience with KW T680? Although we wont be teaming, my girlfriend and I live in the truck/company we are with now, and have no plans of getting a "home" anytime soon, so we are looking for a truck that will serve us well mechanically, financially and space wise. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    sal Thanks this.

u know what as much as i dont like freightliner, my next truck will be a cascadia i am leaning towards it about 75%. i ve had it with the volvos in over my head. impossible to keep the truck happy. although the most comfortable truck yet the biggest headache. well with the emissions anyway

We just got our frieghtliner cascadia through Schneider and I travel with my husband. I am quite happy with the truck and John is VERY happy with the truck. We just pulled a 20,000 pound load from Texas to New Orleans and got 8.7 mpg running 65 mph. The only thing I think we will be changing is to get a new mattress because the ones provided are cheap. I would like a memory foam. They come with an APU and an inverter and we have had a very warm summer and it has never been uncomfortable.

I have no experience with any of the trucks listed but from what ive seen the KW would be best for you and your girlfriends needs, it has good space and would suit your needs pretty well for running your own small business. But again, i have no experience in any of the trucks listed this is just what ive gathered from looking at them. Feels odd for me to recommend a KW being a Pete guy personally from family experiences, but not everyone wants or needs a stretched 379 with a flat top on it lol. Best of luck to you and your girlfriend hope all goes well!

Well, Ive been approved by Recruiting (as of 8/11) and by finance (as of 8/14) was trying to work out the details to get the KW without a down payment, that was on 8/14, I left a message on 8/15 to see if they were going to work with me, but havent heard from either one since...:( I home this isnt a sign of things to come.

Give them time they tend to do that usually cause they are processing information. They seem to have a quirky system and information has to be passed and handle by several different people. I found email works well!
