Have you ever went to sleep with a tight parking spot next to you and had nightmares about a Swift truck trying to back into it? I'm lucky if I dream and remember it, but that's the first time a dream has woken me up in years.

I saw a May Trucking Million Plus Miler take two mirrors off of two different trucks in the space of ten minutes. I was almost backed in to by drivers from several different companies. Swift is not the only one that has people who have a difficult time backing.

There's absolutely no problem with being bad at backing. The problem is with not getting out and looking.

So true and that was the problem with the May driver. Blindside back at a tight warehouse and never got out. Took the other mirror off pulling back over to the staging area. G.O.A.L.!

Those are real fun when the lot is either not big enough or they have snow piled up (or some other object) in the way. I spent a few hours trying to get into this one dock when I was hauling van. I'm glad I don't haul van now:)

Actually, the lot was big. It is just the docks are so close together that it is pretty tough to get into with a driver side back let alone blindside without getting out at least once or twice. But "real" truck drivers don't need to get out. They can back into any spot at any time. LOL
