THANK YOU! People need to realize they only hurt themselves when they do that. How long do you think it will take before that shipper will find someone who will do it for $3.50?

Why is it UTI has a load here in Laredo for $2200 and Landstar has the same load for $1500? :biggrin_2559:

I've called on some landstar Reefer loads. They were worse than CH!!! Maybe I just had bad luck. Then again I do pull a 48. I try thats all I can say.

I think some landstar brokers take more than what they should

Absolutely they do, just like some other company's brokers do. It's not the Landstar disease...it's a disease of greed.

Landstar is probably getting the load form UTI and UTI got it from TMC which
is a CHR affiliate or a freight fowarder and this changes daily.
This is why a back solicitaion clause is useless now days in broker contracts, how can you even prove who and where contact originated?
Myself I refrain from back soliciting cause any shipper that would do that will do the same to you.

Ever go somewhere and you see the stuff sitting outside either picking up or dropping off and they want you to tarp it? I think brokers push up the price of freight on stuff that doesn't need to be tarped.

Brokers will tell you what the freight rate is paying.
Brokers will not tell you how much they are making.
Who cares? If you own your own business you want to know how much they are making if you want to get the biggest rate.
