I was surprised that there are no power locks on this truck...LOL
Oh, and no window curtains!? When my wife and I start teaming and we get a truck with no window curtains, I will buy them myself. This Cascadia has the "groove" for the tracks but no tracks...
This truck also has some "no lot lizard" stickers on it, which don't bother me none but thought that wasn't allowed. It also has a trainer decal on it... I guess they think I am going to be a full time trainer.... I will do some road testing and such but dont plan on training no body else but my wife...
Had a good 2nd day with Renegade... I am glad I can drive now, getting wore out sitting in the jump seat..LOL

There are a few advantages of sitting in the jump seat.......you get to really see the things you only get a glance at when you are driving, you can get in a quick nap, and you can get up and walk around....LOL
SheepDog Thanks this. -
LOL, I'd give you my window curtains if they would fit. I never use them.
-
No real need for Curtains with a team.. unless sitting a spell and Husban/Wife... But solo,,,I like the window curtains...
I apologize for not being on here much but been busy...
Anyway, training is going well, plenty of miles thats for sure... going on my 6th week out from home on the road... looking very much forward to going home next weekend.mtnMoma Thanks this. -

We bought the window curtain right away after getting our Cascadia and have used them many times. They have been great at keeping the heat out when we are sitting a few hours. Does anyone know how much teams get for breakdown pay? Our truck is in the shop in Texarkana and we are sitting at least until Monday afternoon, three days total minimum.
SheepDog Thanks this. -
Shadow777.... you bought the window curtain? Not the actual ones that go to a FL Cascadia? In the truck there is a rail slot, that the actual curtain rails go into. Than the curtains slide on the rails. I am sure when wife and I get our Cascadia, I will go to FL and purchase the actual rail system w/curtains...how bad could it be??? LOL

I have to say, I have no problems with USXpress at this time....
I had a $25 charge for non-compliance and although it took me a few minutes on the phone, the charge was returned. I had a load that I did NOT receive a fuel solution for... I had to call the fuel dept when I needed fuel, I told them what TS I was at and wala...fuel solution sent. Well, it seems that the Flying J I got fuel at in Effingham stated it was actually a Pilot in the USXpress system...LOL I asked the fuel desk lady if USXpress realised that Pilot and Flying J were the same, she said yes and put the money back on my account...
Okay, some drivers would say; "we shouldn't have to fight to get what we are owed!" I do agree to a dagree, like the scaleing issue.. but hey, it is the way they have it set up and though I have to do a little more work for my money, I have never been cheated out of ANY money... If I ever get cheated and they refuse to pay, I will post it here and on their FB page... Until then, I have NO problems with USXpress Inc.
Be safe drivers and lets keep it positive out there,,regardless of what happens... -
The Flying J/Pilot fueling problem started when they combined and the Flying J wasn't set up yet to take our fuel cards........had this happen a couple of times and all I had to do was call someone (forget who...I'm thinking it was Payroll) and get the money back.
