    Just purchased the Big Rig Mattress,,look forward to trying it out...
    Also purchased the TruckerFridge,,expensive but at least it is a REAL fridge... will keep all posted on how they test out..

    they do that to us all the time i just don't pick it up.....:biggrin_25523:
    again i don't pick up the phone when i driving (for them)
    i make then sent everything over the satcom and then i stop when i want to and call them 1/2-2hr's later

    remember we don't have a driver tech in our truck we have a satcom so we can massage when moving IF WE WANT TO......

    the reason we wait is
    1st the handbook said you Should not use the phone when driving....
    2nd the handbook said not to massage when driving....
    3rd the handbook said to find a SAFE PLACE to park when sending massages...... the handbook said an off ramp IS NOT A SAFE PLACE to park.

    if i'm 30 miles away and i have 45min to del DON"T CALL to see if i will be ontime.... i will stop and call then back just to be 5 min late then send mac8 and reason late "DISPATCH"

    their rules..... i just use them when i want to too make MY POINT:biggrin_2553:

    Flood, how do you send messages while driving? or is it because your a team? Mine says Driver Tech on it..

    I also send a message if I am going to be late.. I always let my (the) FM/'s know what is going on.. I stay busy and I like it :)

    I believe I will take your advice from now on... I attempted to ignore them but they just kept calling.. FOR NOTHING! I mean seriously, I get a message telling me I can take off,,ok, got it! I am taking a power nap.. 15 minutes later they call me, waking me up... I ignore.. 15 minutes they call again, I answer and they say: "you can take off". I am like, "are you seriouse? I got the message!.. I will leave in a minute". Can you believe it, they called again! yes, 15 minutes later! This was all durring night shift..

    Someone please tell me why I get messages from all kinds of people? They say I have an FM and I do hear from him but, I also hear receive messages from alot of other people, is this normal hear at USXpress? Why have an asigned FM? This company does do things different, that is for sure but, as long as they keep me moving, which they do, I am content!

    It is because you are in the special group!!!! They put you and I in to some special group when we were teaming, and I also think that could be part of you getting some of the better loads too. My FM told me that I was listed in it and he had to request I get taken back out of that group.

    I was being both. My FM told me even showed me I was listed in some group and I am pretty sure it was a teaming group. SheepDog and I had some really good long runs, and the truck was kept running pretty hard.

    For the 2 week run we had to do a 34 hr reset in NJ and then I got burned by dispatch in CA on my 14 once. I think he may still be listed in that group, but it can work in his favor too.

    I wish you the best in school too, so you can get out there with him.
