Ask your buddy what he is going to make pulling the tank. I've heard that they do real well. Where in Burlington is the DC being built?

New DC is for store supplies. Around here the tankers drivers are starting around 19 and top out around 21. I have never asked a Sheetz delivery driver about pay but I do know that they run late afternoon to late evening dispatches. Delivery to the stores is hand unload.

Sheetz drivers that deliver store products range in pay from $19/hr - $21/hr. bonus over a years span can reach $7500 and is broken up quarterly.

They have over night routes and daily routes:

Daily routes start in the evening and return in the morning. Usually 4pm - 6 am, or something close to that. they do 3 of these per week.

The overnight routes start around lunch time and run about 12 hrs, then they hit a hotel. After the 10 hr break they deliver 2-3 more stores and head back to the DC. So they are gone about 30 hrs total. They do 2 of these per week.

That does sound like a bad deal.

3 days a week for about 50k a year is bad? Or do 2 overnight trips a week for closer to 60K? You pick up extra runs here and there and can boost that number.

They don't service the truck, check-oil wash the truck etc. Everything in done for them.
