I like Sheetz gas stations. They have good sandwiches. The best part is you can get them YOUR way. I tell you it's like pulling teeth trying to get someone to make you a PLAIN hamburger anymore.

I worked at a fast food place in high school. I get everything plain.
-
I also get everything plain at fast food joints. On occasion I'll just order it without sauce if I can see from the front that their lettuce and tomatoes are fresh. But under no circumstances will I ever allow a restaurant to mayo, mustard, ketchup, or any other sauce on my food. That's mostly because I hate mayonaise with a passion and mustard isn't much better. I love ketchup, but I prefer to add it myself.
My friends always think I'm weird, but I can honestly say that I've never been sick after eating fast food. -
Sheetz (Hole), why eat there??
Reminiscent of Turnpike grub.
Whatever woiks!!
-
I agree. When I worked for Schwan's I used to eat there everyday. Wish they'd go national.
-
I've got a cast iron stomach, I eat whatever they throw in front of me however they make it. Love my Jack in the Box. Haven't really got sick. It takes a lot to get me so incapacitated I'd put myself in sick status.

i get my mcdonalds double cheeseburgers plain as well... I like ketchup on it, but i dont necessarily like it on EVERY bite. Also, i like the textural difference and hot/cold difference of putting just a bit of ketchup on each bite. I may be weird, but at least i'm happy!

Never trust McDonalds with being sanitary. I am sorry but when they want you to pull bloody burgers off the grill crosses the line with me. Burger King burgers are safe, they are strict with checking tempature.
-
When it comes to burgers with me, there are 2 cardinal rules. It has to be COOKED (well done), and PLAIN. Absolutely NO vegetables. I can't have anything interfering with the flavor of the meat.
-
to me, well done interferes with the flavor of the meat... i realize in hamburger its not such a good thing, but steak, its not meat unless it moos.
