Most of you are either stupid or know shelby... The rest, Yes I checked it. Shelby promised to fix alot and swore he did...LOL! He had his shop do the DOT inspection and how can you tell an axle is bent? The answer is from tire wear... The truck didnt even make it 8 miles from his shop before it was in the shop... I had to go and shelby gave his word to make it right! HIS WORD IS NO GOOD! As to how long he was in business, Well word is he was run out of Kansas City 8 or so years ago for being a crook!!! Just what I heard... Call any other dealer in the US and ask what they hear of Shelby????? It wont be nice...

"Most of you are either stupid"
OK, sure, you're upset or mad or whatever... but I don't know you, Shelby or anyone, yet you want to throw out some childish insult?
And... "Call any other dealer in the US and ask what they hear of Shelby????? It wont be nice..."
So, YOU have called every dealer in the US to get an opinion on this guy?
I don't have a horse in the race, I'm just an advocate for common sense.Underdog68, sdaniel, wicked and 1 other person Thank this. -
Cmon Ronin, everybody knows Shelby. You are acting like a stupid dummy head
wicked and Rollover the Original Thank this. -
Ya got me. Only Shelby I know is an old guy who made (and somewhat still makes) really fast cool cars.

It's funny another was taken by Shelby Elliot!! Did you not do your homework? I have only been out here for 12 years and have heard an unlimited amount of "stories" from people that have been taken from this guy. Certainly you have heard them as well, it's as common (the stories) as putting your shoes on in the morning. I have not had personal experience in dealing with him, but know this: if you are successful in relieving yourself from this particular money-pit, there are reputable dealers out there that stand by their word.

Sorry about your misfortune.
I wouldn't pay very much for a used tractor.
Too risky. -

In this day and age.. with everything (information-wise) available on the internet, essentially for free.. I can't understand why anyone wouldn't get as much info as they could before spending a dime on anything, from a digital camera to a semi truck.

I bet you showed up and Shelby gave you a big Ole' hug and said welcome I am going to take care of you and put you in the best truck I have on the lot and you are going to love it and look good driving it. This truck is a money maker, sweet one owner, low miles, only driving by a little old man, all the cool truckers have one. This is the greatest day in your life because I am going to put you in this large car for a few dollars down and just a few dollars a month just sign on the dotted line. You went for a test drive and Shelby kept saying this truck was made for you and look at all the cool stuff that you can put on this truck. You went cruising around and sitting low in the seat with the stereo up loud and honking the train horns you never heard all those bad sounds coming from the drive train. And while you were drooling over the chrome your hand just started signing. Just magical.
I feel sorry for anyone that buys a truck and has bad luck with it but you didn't do your part and your not taking some responsibility and trying to put all the blame on someone else. Next time you call others stupid look in the mirror you might want to start with yourself.
