Ya got me. Only Shelby I know is an old guy who made (and somewhat still makes) really fast cool cars.

 

It's funny another was taken by Shelby Elliot!! Did you not do your homework? I have only been out here for 12 years and have heard an unlimited amount of "stories" from people that have been taken from this guy. Certainly you have heard them as well, it's as common (the stories) as putting your shoes on in the morning. I have not had personal experience in dealing with him, but know this: if you are successful in relieving yourself from this particular money-pit, there are reputable dealers out there that stand by their word.

The truck paper is my toy book an over the years he has moved 5 times and at least 3 different states. probably depends on how many times a sheriff brings him reading material.

 

In this day and age.. with everything (information-wise) available on the internet, essentially for free.. I can't understand why anyone wouldn't get as much info as they could before spending a dime on anything, from a digital camera to a semi truck.

 

I would say you are the stupid one here. You screwed up and your not man enough to admit it. You bought a used truck because you let someone else control the purchase and you believed everything that was told to you by the person that was selling the truck. Did you ever get anything in writing? I bet not. You went in and bought a truck without getting it checked out by someone other then the dealer selling the truck. You never got or saw any history on the truck.

I bet you showed up and Shelby gave you a big Ole' hug and said welcome I am going to take care of you and put you in the best truck I have on the lot and you are going to love it and look good driving it. This truck is a money maker, sweet one owner, low miles, only driving by a little old man, all the cool truckers have one. This is the greatest day in your life because I am going to put you in this large car for a few dollars down and just a few dollars a month just sign on the dotted line. You went for a test drive and Shelby kept saying this truck was made for you and look at all the cool stuff that you can put on this truck. You went cruising around and sitting low in the seat with the stereo up loud and honking the train horns you never heard all those bad sounds coming from the drive train. And while you were drooling over the chrome your hand just started signing. Just magical.
I feel sorry for anyone that buys a truck and has bad luck with it but you didn't do your part and your not taking some responsibility and trying to put all the blame on someone else. Next time you call others stupid look in the mirror you might want to start with yourself.
