shifting a 08 peterbilt 389 new guy trying to learn without clutch

    I drove an auto trans in a loaner truck for a couple days....HATED IT!!

    As far as the shifting the 400 rpm split will get you used to it.
    Then you will do it just from the sound of the engine and not even think about it...

    So you have a 13 speed? So jealous! I have a 9. I shift the same way American Trucker does. Works every time.
