    you should be taught to adjust yourself to the truck, every truck is different.

    Biggest advice then is do like in school and try to figure it out by driving and shifting

    When in doubt don't forget that double clutch it will always get you out of a situation

    Sometimes im a little slow on double clutching while upshifting and have to goose the throttle between letting off the clutch the first time and sliding it into gear

    you will find anything that's in that 1400 - 1600 rpm range will work fine after a few days driving the truck you will get a feel for what best works.

    Most trucks have it's own personality, you just have to get in there and feel it out until you are In sync with it
