You can get a duplicate. But if you renew they take your old license. I just got my license renewed right before Xmas. You're not allowed to keep your old one when you renew.

There maybe a point system but I am not aware if it is. I honestly dont know.

As far as I know, you can get your D/L at age 15. Things may have changed but I got mine at 15 but that was 44 years ago.

I dont know about a reckless op, but a speeding ticket in the 10 over range is about $250 now.

Along the same lines, I had a shipper wanting my truck registration. I turned around and left.

If you really want to mess with the security stooges, give them your twic card when they ask for your id.

Same way with that passport card. I’ve done that a couple of times.

When I fly I had the TSA agents my TWIC. More than half don’t even know that it’s a legal form of ID. I had to show one agent on their website where it says it legal. He still didn’t believe me and insisted I show my license. Gotta love ‘Murcia!!

Well in their defense if I saw you riding up to me looking like you do I would probably demand something above and beyond the normal proof of identity. I mean, you do look disgusting.

The last time I was asked for my license, the conversation went like this.

Woman at counter (wac): I need your drivers license.
Me: ok, you need to see my license.
WAC: you’ll need to take it out of that case, then I can make a copy of it.
Me: no, no copy will be allowed, you can look at it.
WAC: we have to make a copy for the file.
Me: what file would that be
WAC: the file in the drawer
( she points to an old beat up file cabinet)
Me: it goes in that file cabinet, then what happens?
WAC: nothing, it just goes in the file and stays there.
Me: who has access to that file
WAC: just the people that are in here, the office.
(People are just walking in and out of the place)
Me: so any one who can enter this area could have access to the file, is it locked when your not accessing these files?
    WAC: I don’t think so.
Me: dose the company have a written privacy and identity protection policy, if so may I have a copy to read.
WAC: I don’t know, i don’t think so, I really don’t know who to ask
Me: well it seems that no policy exists, so no copy of license. How does this product get delivered, do you need to call someone to come and provide an escort?

She called a supervisor to escort me to the unloading point. Once unloaded, the supervisor says, you know how to get back to the gate, thanks see ya.

This is business as usual today and part of the FDA and Uniform Food Safety Protocol to verify the identity of every person who enters any food and drug related facilities who strive to operate according to the protocol

I don’t think Walmart will allow you in if you refuse to show proof of identity (valid drivers license)
