Only if your license is not in a protective sleeve....

Like I posted earlier, there is no legitimate reason for a private citizen in a shipping dept to have a copy of your driver's license, none...Security can be obtained by many other alternative means....Henry dumbnuts in the shipping dept with the felony record ain't getting it, nope ain't happening.....If we can't seem to come up with a viable solution, I'll walk.....If it's all so important that no one can be trusted anymore, how about a carrier issued photo id, with an employee number on it...It would accomplish the same objective and protect your PII at the same time...

I mean lets be fair here, you don't trust me so you insist you need to have my full bio, but conversely I'm expected to trust you with protecting all my PII, baloney....
    .
Identity theft is getting worse and worse, choice is yours of course, but why set yourself up.. I mean it's like parking your new rig in the So. Bronx and walking away..I've been compromised twice now, like US said it is real aggravating to get it straightened out.....All I have left is one credit card that I never use except once or twice a year just so it won't get cancelled, and it is never out of my sight...I never use an ATM....Everything gets paid by cash or check....

Not sure how you people are getting your identity stolen with your license? It requires much more information to be valid these days like mothers maiden name, social security number, previous addresses, previous loans you've had, telephone number matching yours and so on.

Many states use a method like NH for your license number which can be figured out easily. If just using your license was enough to steal your identity then my whole state would be up ####s creek.

Most of you are full of #### thinking and even saying yours or someone you know had their identity stolen because of a drivers license. That's all BS. I know, your sisters boyfriends father at college knew a janitor who's son had a girlfriend who knew a guy at Walmart who had his identity stolen? Right?

Here in NH and I can come up with the license number of ANYONE in my state. Their name, address and birth date but it's not even close to what's needed to steal their identity. If it was it would happen non stop every day all day. Geezus, simple logic would tell a moron that!!!!

It's actually pretty simple, one scenario is Henry takes your D/L copy with all your bio info and sells it to Tom, Tom compiles a boat load of them and then sells them to Dick, Dick then sells them to Harry who has all the equipment needed to make an identical copy, but with someone else's picture on it....Harry then sells the bad guy one, from $100 to $5,000, depending on what kind of quality you're after and can afford...Many of the copies being produced, most coming from China with many security features, are so good they fool most people that need to be fooled to obtain whatever financial scam they're trying to accomplish, particularly as proof of identity in conjunction with the fraud credit and debit cards that they've also produced from skimmed card info....

This is my last post on this subject and I will comment no further.....Life is full of choices, some good, some bad, all I'm saying is, learn how they do it and protect yourself from identity and card theft, good luck....

Doesn't work that way. You need a lot more info then what's on a drivers license. Banks are not dummies. If that's all you needed every person in the U.S. would have their identity stolen.

Actually, the protective sleeves are not guaranteed, contrary to what the companies tell you, do a little research on it.

Get with your company. They can refuse to pull loads if they won't accept company ID instead. That's what our company does. We don't even have to show our license.

Ya, that will go over big. The shipper will tell you to go have sex with yourself then get someone else in 2 seconds.
