UNFI in Chesterfield, NH there's another bad one. Multiple drivers at my company have had the same experience. You're only allowed to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment. Otherwise they send you away. After i got in, I waited in the staging area for an hour after my appointment before I was sent to a door. Then I was in the door for seven hours being unloaded. When I went to get my paperwork at the end, the receiving lady was a little sympathetic and says that's how it is for every load they get. They used a lumping service but I forget which one.

never had a problem getting unloaded In chesterfield or the ladies inside but I’ve gone round and round with the rent a cop out front when he tried to write something on a piece of paper by putting it up to my dirty truck door more than once, said I can’t yell at him because he has ptsd from high school or some stupid ####,

Any AWG is guaranteed a minimum 3 to 4 hrs also! I think I've spent the most time at the Oklahoma City location. To be fair, I did have cases of lunch meat so I can somewhat understand that taking some time to count.

    14 hours? I wish.

Got to PreCoatMetals near JacksonMS 10am. Less than 10 trucks ahead of me. Gut wagon comes rolling in asking if anyone wanted food. I’m good, I should only be there for a couple hours max. Gut wagon comes back that afternoon and we had only moved a couple spots. I realize I will be there over 24 hours. I get food.

The guy loading trucks used an overhead crane to load coils. He was sitting in the break room listening to his music. He came out, hooked a coil, then went back to the break room for a 30. Lifted the coil. Break room. Moved the coil to the truck. Break room. Lowered the coil. Break room. In an 8 hour shift, they would probably only load two trucks. Talk about riding the clock. Had to be union.

The next morning, my travel agent calls and asks about my location. I tell him that I am next in line to load. “YOU’RE STILL THERE?????? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Six?!?!?”

Right. Everything is educational. There are certain places that you will NEVER see me, and there’s a really good reason why. The most disrespectful thing that you could ever do to another person is waste their time. I learned that from trucking. Not gossip. Not back stabbing. Not slander. I will be on time. I will be there when I said I would. You don’t have to like me, we don’t have to speak. Tell everyone in earshot that I am an A Hole. I WILL be on time regardless.

    Bud A. Thanks this.
