The title to this thread ought to be shippers and receivers helping themselves to a head injury...:biggrin_25525:

This was my experience in my early years, at some food warehouses.

If I was not awake to receive instructions when they walked up to my truck, they allowed me to sleep to my hearts content and promptly unloaded me much later in that day..or the next day.

I am fortunate that my last ten years of my driving career was for a PROFESSIONAL trucking company that did not allow drivers in the cab while the truck was being serviced.

Had I been the mechanic confronting your puppy dog, I would have wrapped a 12 inch crescent wrench around his jaw teeth.

My lab mix USUALLY works pretty good as a door greeter, he's stopped a few people dead cold who tried to pop the door, and i let him greet anyone knocking first, if they want to knock a 2nd time then what they have to say might actually be important. The first time he failed however was a doozie, we were both DEAD asleep apparently. I'd left the doors locked but the windows half down in atlanta, was sure he'd notice the truck rocking as one would have to hit the step to reach lock, and meet them at the window. I woke up to my cd's a carton of smokes and my cb missing. to add insult, they'd found my own screwdriver and pocketknife to remove cb and cut wires:biggrin_25510: I'd like to think he'd have done something had that piece of #### pulled the curtain and come at me with that knife, but glad i Didn't have to find out. I bought the window screens and picked up a 2nd dog after that. Although with this new volvo, the locks are accessible through the small flap on the screens has me a bit worried.
