i'm really disapointed in all the overt racism and predjudice being displayed in this thread.

    Shame on all of you!

Oh come on, lighten up. It is obvious different cultures have various customs. For example it is an abomination for a Hindu that we eat burgers and steaks. It is revolting to us that certain Asians eat cats and dogs.

A few weeks ago, I parked my tanker truck at the company yard and ran double flatbeds for a few days using a single axle. I parked it way in the back figuring it'd be out of the way and left alone while I was gone from it but that was the mistake.

I get dispatched a load of grower headed to Lovelock, NV, so im gonna need my tanker truck. I roll up to the truck about 6 am to fire it up when upon opening the door I see a leg sticking out of the curtains. Apparently one of the new parts-changers was sleeping in my truck living the good life. He was up and out the door so quick I think he out-ran all my hollering and he ain't been seen since. Thank God he was dressed but it still wasn't easy going to sleep that night.

I'm not a trucker but have worked in shipping/receiving for 20 years. I have NEVER helped myself into the cab. I let the driver know about how long I'll be so he has some idea then I knock on the door when I am done and wait for him. Even if the window is open or the door is un-locked I never enter. Just like I don't just walk into somebody's house without knocking. But then again I was raised to be respectful of other people. That seems to be a thing of the past these days.
