So I haven't been to happy with most shock brands. I was due for a new set. I happened to have a set of Sachs from 2014 OEM frieghtliner that had not been used. I saved them from a cut-off I bought. I decided to find matching ones for the steers. Freightliner wanted $147.00 a piece. I search for hours online and made phone calls. No luck. Then I called Volvo and gave them the Monroe part number. They couldnt look up the Sachs#. The Monroe number crossed. 137.00 for the pair! Same Sachs shocks. I will let you guys know if how it rides whenever I feel like going back to work.

Freightliner steer Sachs #315-390. Drive #315-395. Sometimes there is a "SAC" in front of #. No it is not the same shock. Sachs a far superior in quality.

I did not say that. Sachs is Volvo Oem. I purchased Sachs. For half the price at Volvo vs. Freightliner.

I just got new ones for my steers. Kid got them at Freightliner. Monroe's. Think he charged me $80 for both.

I've always run monroes. But the last few sets dont seam to last. In all my phone calls today. I learned that there is issues with Monroe's and Gabriels. There quality varies dependent on company profits.
