I agree. I can’t believe that they let guys leave junk trucks in their lot and then start stripping them down to keep their other trucks going, to the point that there are currently 5 trucks in the back row that can’t even be moved. I just left there 20 minutes ago and when I circled the lot I counted 17 dropped trailers, 5 of which haven’t moved in forever, with 2 of those having junk tires stacked up under the front of the trailer. Obviously they like my money enough that Tuesday when I stopped and there were 2 other trucks and myself parked in the last 2 islands at 230 in the afternoon they didn’t say anything. Maybe they should take note about how the place next door went bankrupt and how their whole parking lot was a drop yard the last year it was open. They’d be foolish to run off paying customers just to have a lot full of junk.Blue jeans and bzinger Thank this.

Funny...thanks for supporting my point

Welcome to shoemakers junkyard ! Lol
Blue jeans and Long FLD Thank this. -
How dare Shoemakers! Allowing for trailers to be dropped in the yard that they bought with their own money but not allowing EVERYBODY to park at the fuel island! We need a politician to pass another law that makes this type of behavior illegal. Shoemakers should be fined as well! This is an outrage!
DONT PARK AT THE FUEL ISLAND!!!!!!VolvoTerry Thanks this. -
That place is one of my faves. I love the restaurant there......gotta get that pork tenderloin sammich... and the food is reasonably priced. I know the last time I was out there, my parking was a special level of creative

Did you ask the manager if those dropped trailers you mentioned paid rent?
It’s highly possible that they make more money off renting those spaces then they do selling fuel.RockinChair, starmac and bzinger Thank this. -
Roflmao..that junk ain't worth putting fuel in .drvrtech77 Thanks this.

While that may be true, that still doesn’t mean that they are parked there for free.
