Shot in the dark, is there extra fuses on trucks anywhere?

Yup, was in Texas. Oklahoma now. I looked at it again this morning and the AC compressor is kaput. The belt is still intact but in front of the pulley is loose and has sheared metal. Fun times.

    It's 87 with a clear sky. It's pretty F'n hot.

The last couple of new trucks I got, had a complete set of extra fuses in the packet with the owners manual etc. Check that big ol' bulky package.

87 degrees ? That's windows down, fresh air weather to me. I might crank it at 95 tho. I will admit I'm kinda' weird, I'll have the air on and windows down when driving. Don't like the cooped in feeling.:evil4:

I just recently discovered that the fuses in the Intertrashional are actually circuit breakers that can be reset. Stupid ABS light kept coming on every time I hit the brakes. Would have saved me a shop visit.

I drive an International LT. I have a zip lock bag with fuses that is attached to the rings in my permit book binder. They are the older fuses, the ones that have a different color for different amperages. First thing the DOT sees when they open the book. But like @JC1971 said above, the International doesn't use fuse, only circuit breakers. And relays. Not likely the DOT will ever catch on.

87 degrees here today, strong enough winds to pull your hair! Dusty dusty dusty, though for a moment I was standing in front of a sand blaster. Yes, windows were up, and a/c cranked.
Out here in the desert, very seldom have the windows down, no matter how cool.

Connecticut discovered that my Penske Freightliner box truck with all circuit breakers didn't have any spare fuses...Penske installed some in all 3 that evening.
