Yup, was in Texas. Oklahoma now. I looked at it again this morning and the AC compressor is kaput. The belt is still intact but in front of the pulley is loose and has sheared metal. Fun times.
It's 87 with a clear sky. It's pretty F'n hot.
Shot in the dark, is there extra fuses on trucks anywhere?

The last couple of new trucks I got, had a complete set of extra fuses in the packet with the owners manual etc. Check that big ol' bulky package.
High Stepper and wis bang Thank this. -
87 degrees ? That's windows down, fresh air weather to me. I might crank it at 95 tho. I will admit I'm kinda' weird, I'll have the air on and windows down when driving. Don't like the cooped in feeling.

TexasRiverRat, Grumppy and Gridaxe5588 Thank this. -
I just recently discovered that the fuses in the Intertrashional are actually circuit breakers that can be reset. Stupid ABS light kept coming on every time I hit the brakes. Would have saved me a shop visit.
Grumppy Thanks this. -

87 degrees here today, strong enough winds to pull your hair! Dusty dusty dusty, though for a moment I was standing in front of a sand blaster. Yes, windows were up, and a/c cranked.
Out here in the desert, very seldom have the windows down, no matter how cool. -
