Keep a spare in your wallet or in the small extra pocket in your jeans and this will never happen.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Thank you I just tried that on my truck and it worked. Lol but I think I'll just keep locking it with my key so I'm not that guykemosabi49 Thanks this.

On those vent windows you don't got to pry the window at all. Just lock on to the outside plastic covered nut with a pair of vice grips and turn it. Ir wil downs the inside lock open so you can open the window and reach inside.

I keep a spare under the hood in the engine compartment HIDDEN well from sight just for these occasions.
I have the ignition key... my pocket key.. and the emergency hidden one. -
Some of them, but I've run trucks where the outside part would spin without moving the inside.

Maybe the plastic cover spun, but the bolt under it is connected right to the lock.

Because the driver is an EMPLOYEE. Employees sometimes make mistakes while on the job that cost the company money... it's part of the risk of running a business. Don't want to be financially responsible for employee mistakes? ... Don't run a business that requires other people working for you.
If an employee makes too many mistakes, then you fire them.
Personally, if I locked the keys in my truck I'd try to handle it myself, including paying for it, without my company even knowing about it (I know that my company pays for such things, though, as they should).TankerYankr Thanks this. -
I know this may offend some here, but just from a generational aspect, I would like to see a poll of the age of the people saying the company should pay, I just think it may be interesting.
FlaSwampRat, haycarter, spyder7723 and 2 others Thank this.
