I agree.......I'd bet most from my generation would take care of it themselves. Later generations, seem to have this entitlement attitude, and no compulsion to take responsibility for their own actions. No way in the world did the COMPANY lock the keys in the truck......the idiot behind the wheel did.......so take responsibility and quit pushing off your inappropriate actions on to another entity just because your actions may cause you embarrassment or cost you time and or money.FlaSwampRat, wichris and KANSAS TRANSIT Thank this.

LOL...I think most of us already know the answer to that.FlaSwampRat, TripleSix, spyder7723 and 1 other person Thank this.

so then, the driver needs to eat, cuz he spent all his money buying a fancy cb radio, and the company should pay for his food?
or the driver was fueling his truck, and splashed fuel on his clothes, and the company should pay for his laundry?
or the driver ate a bad roller dog and threw up in his truck, and the company should pay for his cleaning up the truck?
you go with that....buy your own fleet of trucks, pay for the drivers mistakes, then come back here telling us you went bankrupt and need a job, will anyone hire you.>???Gearjammin' Penguin, TripleSix, spyder7723 and 2 others Thank this. -
Here is the problem in a nut shell, Some people feel they are doing others a favor offering a job,,,,,others feel like they are doing you a favor by coming to work, I'm sure the balance lies somewhere in the middle, but it seems to have shifted a LOT of the last decade or so? jmho
Gearjammin' Penguin, haycarter and buddyd157 Thank this. -
The employer should always pay. It’s their truck.

There was nothing wrong with the truck that needed to call anyone until the driver touched it, right?buddyd157 Thanks this.
