When I got my truck new from the dealer, we were given 4 keys. When I took it to the office to have the identification stuff put on, I asked for 2 of them so I could hide one in the engine area.
Should a driver pay for leaving their keys inside the truck?

I always hide one in my left pants pocket.
The right side is for the main key.
Since I never go out of the truck without pants, I figure I am good. -
If I didn't have a spare and locked myself out I would pay for it on my own so nobody knew about it out of embarrassment. I'm not afraid to say it, I wouldn't want my boss to have to hit me with the "Really dude, I pay you to be a professional" because that's exactly what I would get and he would be 100% correct.
