So at work I drive a 28ft box truck. Taking care of my tires is very important but I have times here and there where I’ll get into a tight turn and I’ll rub my tires against the side of the road. I was told I shouldn’t do it but I don’t know what else to expect from myself cause it’s hard for me to avoid it. So I get worried if I should even be driving trucks for a living. Idk if this is normal or if it’s a me problem. Any advice is appreciated thanks.

Maybe I misunderstand your question. If you are rubbing the tires against the vertical curb, you should not be. It's a good way to knock a tire off the wheel (instant flat tire) or damage the wheel and hub. Take more space to turn if it is available. If you want to be a professional driver you don't just let things happen. You set yourself/truck up to do things in a good manner. Sometimes you might have to run over a curb and you want to do that with the wheel rolling up onto it, the straighter the better, and at a very slow speed. Remember, that truck is your ride home. Don't abuse it. It's a long walk, even for a local driver.

Swing a little wider on your turns, you should not be curbing tires.

Swing a little wider and you'll be ok. Don't overthink and throw away a good career.
