For $2500 I wouldn't even bat an eye, hell if it turn out to be more than its worth I would knock it in the head and part it out for a profit.
Should I buy 2001 International 9200i with issues?

Stupid Question; What is KIS?
-
Hey is there a tag on the axle or something so that I can tell the final drive?
Thanks

Hey guys so I bought the truck. I am really happy about it. The thing turns over too! I do here something that could be rod bearing or something but not sure. Could just be a diesel thing. This is my first diesel engine to diagnose. It's a 2001 and I see a place under the dash to hook up a diagnosis computer. How expensive are they and is it like a normal OBDII scanner? Should I buy one or get someone to come out and check it? Anyone in Atlanta?
Thanks
Joe

Congrats on the truck!
Trucks use a different protocol than OBDll. -
I use a 2001 truck similar to that at my job although its a single axel day cab... I like it out of all the trucks. Got a nice cummins engine, eaton 10 spd(just rebuilt) Pulls the trailers very very well. I would say go for it, give it a shot. Got a friend who keeps asking my company when they are selling the three internationalsm because he wants one. Hes been using international forever and always had them.
