Should I buy a Marmon or Diamond Reo?

    i almost bought a new 1972 diamond nice looking truck but bought a 71 pete instead (last year for the small windows)

    I'd buy a marmon anyday over these new trucks 400 big cam cummins cranked up with a 13 speed,8 inch straight pipes better stop im gonna get all worked up lol

    A friend of mine has an old Marmon.It is parked.He gets 4-5 MPG if he is lucky.It is more of a conversation peice these days.He loves his paid for FLD and Detroit.He gets close to 7 MPG and alot of room.

    My 97 Marmon gets about 7 mpg all the time ! Parts are still available but most parts aren't even Marmon parts ! You just need to figure out who they borrowed parts from like the Volvo radiator and the western star steering wheel or the international cab air ride .

    I'd buy one with a mechanical engine . It wouldn't require a speed limiter in Ontario .

    Diamond Reo shutdown production in 1995 and Marmon in 1997 so not too many DEALERS left
