I get a filter kit off ebay once a year. The worst part about mine is the lower cover(2 bolts) got all whack when I ran over something I didn't see(must have been huge) so I have to do a lot of persuasion to get it back on and the bolts are stripped and... It's been needier than the truck, taking an alternator, ac compressor, condenser fan and fuel pump. If it goes another 6 years, I'll be a happy camper.

Mines about the same. Just said F it, and had the entire thing rebuilt including the high pressure hoses, but not the engine. About $3000 into it. It's worked like a champ before rebuild and after. I mean it runs A LOT, and you can hang meat in the truck, and it runs all winter with the heater too.

    Take a cold shower......

That new truck smell is expensive, and she'll drop you for the next guy the moment the money runs out...

More like the sirens of the sea, haunting voices singing, at first its a sweet song, then it turns maddening, lures the unsuspecting sailor to them, to crash amongst the rocks, beaten by a savage sea, Left to suffer a watery death.
