Dave, it’s ok to admit that a VNL 860 is really what you want.

The issues I have with that truck are with the Asthetics......
I do not like red Vehicles.
Not thrilled with the very light coloured interior.
I personally would prefer an Auto.

But those are personal preference type deals....

So the big question is does the money flow make sense? Will it continue to make sense if the freight market minimally rebounds from this seasonal lull? Are the cats bonded with Casper and how will they react to the change?

I have a dedicated customer starting soon for $4 mile, and I'm wondering if that's too cheap. I have another I can get into for almost $5 mile, but the want single operator BCO's only, that's the shipper not the agent.

    I need trucks. Well, drivers.

I could add two trucks to the $4 mile one in a snap. Freight is not even an issue. Drivers is.

I don't think I'd get red either. They have two beautiful ones, but they have Paccar motors. But if the money is right, I could like red.

Dedicated customers? That sounds like a commitment. I do not do well with long term commitments except commitments to myself.

Heck it's a challenge for me to work the agents rather than the load board cause I do not want those favor points adding up.

Maybe not, but from what I can see, you run hard for your agents (yourself) and into a lot of places I won't. I'm too lazy and not as motivated LOL.

Gotta admit, Dave, that is a beautiful truck. It all comes down to business decision. Can't look at the shiny bling.

95/100 drivers wouldn't even take the time to comprehend your statement.
I agree with the dislike of red. Doesn't even belong on pickups. Don't no why. It's just the rules man.

I had a '70 Cuda that was blood red. And it was truly a bad mother ####er. Pistol grip shifter. It's right for the right person. But it's not who I am anymore. They have one that's like a redish burgundy, now it's beautiful.
