This one is a no brainer.
2018 Great Dane Dry Van
Air everything.
Steel wheels.
Landstar is offering these at a price I'm sure no one else gets, and I'm not allowed to share.
Act now, take delivery in October.
Should I buy a new trailer?

You ok with losing those pre-loads? If you are that extra % should pay for the trailer.

Say goodbye to those FedEx loads.

Same trailer, you get to know it. Starting with day one maintenance, you’ll know exactly how old everything is, when to do the slacks, brakes and etc. I think at LS i added about 13k-17k annually by adding the trailer. So if your getting this trailer for around 20k then it pays for itself pretty quick.
Then you have more leverage if you decide to do something else later on. You’ll already have a trailer.cabbanna, Grubby and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
The cheapest I have seen Great Dane vans was 26k without skirts and tire inflation

@Dave_in_AZ if you would consider a used 2014 Great Dane already on with Landstar feel free to PM me. I know of one that could be for sale. Already has two side boxes, interior LED lights, and 16’ aluminum split-lock ramps mounted underneath. Would also include pads, straps, and logistics bars. I’m a BCO so no problems sharing info. Either way, I highly recommend owning your trailer at LS.
Bean Jr. and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -

No sir, I’m running OTR step deck at Landstar. My dad is also a BCO and may be selling his logistics van. I also have a 2015 Wabash logistics van for sale, but it’s spoken for already unless that deal falls through.

Get your own. It's worth it
nikmirbre and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
