Should I buy a Pete 379 or Freightliner Classic?

    freightliner doors don't shut right, and have to adjust them monthly, and the interiors are total crap, as far as performance go's, you can get what ever you want for motor and drive tran.

    Or a highly priced Kw, freightliners are cheaper for parts. My vote is KW, but you will pay a lot more in parts if not careful.

    i see no difference in a FL detroit then i do with a pete or kw isx. 5.5 is what i get pulling flat. it don't matter which truck or engine. but i'm in the mountains.

    Get a Pete draw some penises on it and drive slower for better mpg. Leave 30 minutes earlier for apts/trips that way it adds up if you left later and drove 75 or left earlier driving 70mph

    I guess I just see a lot better quality in the body and interior of a Paccar hands down

    At the end of the day, you are the one who is driving it and using it everyday. You are paying all of the bills on it to make yourself money. The decision is based off of what will suite you better. I prefer my kenworths and peterbilts but others prefer shakers. I would take the Pete because it's built better, rides better, looks cooler, and is better. But the classic can be considered a cheap peterbilt. Both have long hoods and give off the classic look, but one is cheaper.
