You can do that once as an owner operator if you don't think you need a new truck every few years and take care of your stuff. I have no clue what malpractice insurance would be for a doc but I can't imagine it's horribly cheap, and then you have to buy all those suits they're always wearing, and then you gotta bring them to the dry cleaners. You want to talk about a high stress job that's what a doctor is to me, I have a second or third cousin who's about 40 i suppose whose a doctor and he's bald as a cue ball already.
should i buy new and go o/o

I don't like the idea of debt, or credit cards maxed out earning hyper interest. So I opt out.
I guess I will never own a fleet of trucks.
Or become a doctor. -
Oldironfan Thanks this.

Doctors have a lot of stress. Why do you think they all run around with the next new crop of nurses that come in?
To relieve their stress. And that happens in every hospital across the whole United States.
Not that it has anything to do with trucking, but I knew a lady back in the nineties that ran a phone answering service.
She told me at that time, never ever ever would she take on another doctor.
She said that she was professional and she could handle all kinds of stuff but she couldn't keep track of who the wives were and who the Mistresses were and who was doing what with who.
She said with the doctors that was on going and never ending. And she said never again. -
Lav-25 Thanks this.
