I over looked some of the best advice I was given 19 years ago almost to the day. It seems very fitting to this situation.
"You drive your truck and I'll drive mine, If you are to busy trying to look out my windshield you could miss the sign that may save your life."
Should I expect more from a professional driver?

Calling in on a driver for driving in a lane that he is legally aloud to drive in is ignorant. Point blank. Do you know why he was driving in that lane? Your not a professional driver, steering wheel holder, truck driver or what ever other name there is for it. But you think you are because you read stuff on the internet and ask people about it. You shouldnt be calling to complain unless its a life threatening thing. also you shouldnt even begin to judge a driver unless you have drivin a tractor-trailer before.

Kinda hard to say if you was right or wrong without knowing all the details. How long was he there? WHY was he there? Those are a couple of questions I would be interested in knowing.

Be sure when you call in on someone that it is a pretty darn good reason. Many times a driver will get fired over someone calling in.
I don't see a truck holding up traffic as a good reason. Some drivers need a wake up call with a talking or a fine but not termination.
What comes around goes around. Make sure you are 100% perfect out there.
I won't call on someone unless they are a reckless or drunk driver.HauntedSchizo19, wulfman75 and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this. -
so that makes you apart of what category? I no what category im in. if he didn't want to hear what people had to say he should have written his post. I am entitled to my thoughts. and good night to you 2!!!! -
I fill my truck, I move it. I don't go into the game room, watch TV in the lounge, get my hair cut, and leave a driver that has a dead line to wait. I spend the money, then park. Some don't

It seems I've broken a cardinal rule here, in calling in on a driver.
Question - people here complain a lot about drivers tossing crap bags and pee bottles out the window as they leave the TS. Does the brotherhood still hold true, or do you call in? Personally, I don't want that guy wearing the label of truck driver.
I come at this from an employer perspective. If someone in one of my vehicles isn't representing me well, I want to know about it. As far as joe public is concerned, it's me driving since my name is on the vehicle.
