Should I Get A CB Radio?

Waste of time!! It's like a VCR.

 

B.s. mine just saved me from sitting in a 3 hour backup

 

I agreee! As much as I hate the bs on the cb I keep mine on and squelch out all but those closest to me. Mine has saved me more times than I can count from backups, closed roads, wrecks with vehicles in the travel lanes and so much more. I wouldnt hit the road without it.

 

I picked up a Cobra 29. Everything is fine, but when I mike up it says, "CB Antenna Warning". Any ideas how to troubleshoot this? Nothing in the manual and couldn't find anything online.

Bad ground to the antenna?

You can get a better radio for less on the used market at most CB shops.

 

I don't have one I have a minor case of road rage. You guys don't want me to have one ill probably pissss a lot of you off because I'm always getting cut off because I drive slow. Most places use cell phone if no cb on truck. Although I did have a problem in Texas somewhere there was no atnt signal. So they came and knocked on my truck. Other than that CB in my eyes not that big of a necessary. One time my dad was driving close like Indy 500 and I big rock was in the way. Cb helped. But me behind the wheel keep your following distance and eyes open I'm fine with out a cb
