Should I get my CDL-A?

What are the points from?

 

even if you qualify for a school that lets people under 21 to get CDL you still going to have to wait till 21 to find a company that will hire you with that record

 

Drivers with a worse record than you have, found decent jobs on Craigslist.
They applied for everything, even if they didn't think they were qualified.

What those drivers did was apply to dozens of companies and leave dozens of phone messages. They all had jobs within a few days.

 

Check with your state. Some do not allow CDL A until your 21 even for intrastate. NY is one of them

 

Listen, you need to start being more careful. People do crazy things like stopping to merge. You have to be on your guard. Slow down a bit and be vigilant. Accidents will, and always will happen. But you have to many in a short time. If your serious about a driving career shape up that record of yours. Insurance companies dictate who gets hired, and at what cost. They didn't build those beautiful insurance company buildings taking losses.

I am in a somewhat similar position and would appreciate some advice. I have a class C CDL and 4 years experience driving a minibus for New York MTA Acces A ride program. I recently took the CDL class A written test and passed it. I have the doubles endorsement, Tankers endorsement and School bus endorsements. My problem is I have 2 tickets for driving with an electronic device in my hand ( portable GPS) pending court hearings. Is there a company Driving school that will give me a chance ?
