Should I give two weeks notice or not?

Say it's time for home time clean out your truck and head off to the next place.

Take all your accrued vacation days and whatnot so you get paid. Then when it is time to come back say you are across the country but the keys are in the truck for whenever you want to send the repo guy.


You might decide you actually want to stay during that time off. Who knows.


Definitely don't try to lug all your crap back home turning it in for them at their convenience. Do what is convenient for you.

 

I have walked off a lot of jobs. Some twice. They would all take me back for a third time. Its not me, it’s them.

I have only given two notices in my life. One of them was mad that it was one week not two. Well, pay me what I’m worth and it wouldn’t be an issue.

 

They will try to find away to screw you out of some money .

nowdays I’d tell them you need three weeks off for your hemorrhoids surgery , that should give time to use u any vacation time if you have it , and collect your last check , so they can’t screw you out of money

use all your vacation, take pics/video of truck with time stamps and leave. if a company is too afraid to give 2 week notices, why should you risk it aswell? I have never given a 2 week notice and haven't had any issues finding jobs.

 

Do they give you 2 weeks notice that they're going to fire you? Then screw giving two weeks notice when you quit.
