Unfortunately, No...I looked into it. You would need heavy vehicle driver to be listed on the immigration department's database of needed skilled occupations. It's not. I guess they have enough drivers down there already. They are looking for transportation company managers though, in case you have the experience and are interested. The US government, on the other hand, seems to be providing special opportunities for foreigners to come to the USA exclusively to alleviate the driver shortage and help keep people like you from demanding higher pay and better conditions. I was even chatting with one Chilean trucker youtuber on discord who managed to re-arrange his life in short order to ditch trucking in Chile for the greener pa$tures of the usa. Even was allowed to bring his wife along. Leandro in Chile was his youtube channel, but he might've deleted his channel.

Can you recommend a good company that will hire a TN resident for western regional stuff? My CDL is based out of Nashville too. Don't really care to drive in TN as it's one of my least favorite states. The roads are way too congested. What inspired you to work out west? I'm personally attracted to those wide open spaces. -
