I've had loads like that before. Once picked up a load of dunnage, idiot kid loaded all the cardboard pieces in the front, and triple stacked all the pallets of plywood on the tail.

I dodged the scales all the way to Nashville,TN. -
Moving the fifth wheel won't move weight off trailer. Basically the fifth wheel moves weight to and from the steers.

Each trailer slide hole moves 220lbs. Each fifth wheel slot moves 110lbs.

Mixed loads are the problem. If we could assume all loads were consistent, front to back, in terms of product density and loading pattern, fine, we can set such numbers, but until then, making this assumption will get you in trouble on some loads.Last edited: Apr 12, 2017
