I rolled over my big truck on Nov 2,2010. I was driving locally hauling wood chips. I was doing the speed limit going around a corner and the load shifted and I rolled over. No cops or D.O.T. showed up until AFTER I was taken to the hospital. They didnt even show up at hospital to see what happen!! I called the State police barracks to see what the accident report said and why no one came to hospital to see me. The officer that did the report called me back and told me that he was THINKING about giving me a "Imprudent Speed' Ticket!! Well on the 18th the local police called and told me that they had a ticket for me and to come get it. i went to get it and it was a ticket for "Imprudent Speed". Should I try and fight this to keep off my license?
Should I or Shouldn't I......

trying to picture how a load of wood chips can shift
-
i would fight it ...

Imprudent means lacking good judgement. What's to fight? They didn't have a yellow sign?
Eleven years experience, you should know better.
Go to court, they will throw it out. -
In other words, going to fast around a corner. Probably more top heavy, than shifting.

Let's say the speed limit sign says 40 MPH. That doesn't mean to say that you can take a 90 degree corner at that speed.

short of the one whole side of air bags blowing when going around a corner, does laying it over not mean your going to fast?
I thought you are to take in to consideration your load, like tanks , have to go slower yet, to take into account for sloshing.
