Did you get a ticket for it ? If not it is not it is an incident not an accident. If the company does say something just say I didn't think it counted, since it wasn't DOT reportable.
Alot of it has to do with the company you are applying with. They probabbaly don't want to know about it. I had a minor accident myself doing damage to the truck where no other vehicle was involved or nobodys property was damaged. I didn't get fired but because it was general frieght it got real slow, and I quit. While in the process of looking for another job I put it down on the application and the Manager was take this off of here I don't want to know about it.
Some people will tell you that it is best to be honest. This is just my way of doing things. Best of luck to youhercules Thanks this. -
If there was a police report, they will find it even if it wasn't your fault and doesn't show on your abstract;it happened to my son.It didn't make any difference,he's still driving for them they just have too much time on their hands and want to know everything.

However, laws vary by state.
Lord only knows what the law in mass is. -
i didn't get ticket for it, there is a police report, this happened 35 months ago, the company ask for any accident in the last 36 months, i already applied for that company and i didn't right the accident in the application , next week i am going for the orientation, what to do ? to call them monday before get to the orientation and tell them about the accident, or to don't tell them nothing ?? thanks for any advises.

It isn't showing on the DMV record, no citation...I sense a "guilty conscience....so call them before going to orientation and put the cards on the table....probably nothing will be said...but you have done the right thing by giving the history that you were involved in, but not at fault....just set the records straight.
Better to know now than to be sent home from orientation from not disclosing the incident.hercules Thanks this. -

It shows honesty and that you are not trying to hide anything at all. Some companies actually like an honest person working for them! -
